Refresher: Breathing & Focus

Our iOS breathing and focus app, now living on its own domain.

Refresher started as an internal experiment: we wanted a breathing timer that respected the four techniques we actually use between deep-work blocks, without an account, a feed, or a subscription wall in front of the first session. It grew into a full iPhone app, and in 2026 it moved to its own home at tryrefresher.app so it can build its own audience instead of borrowing ours.

What Refresher does

Four proven techniques

Box Breathing, 4-7-8, Coherent Breathing and the Wim Hof Method, each with its own pacing and guidance.

HealthKit and Live Activities

Sessions write to Apple Health as mindful minutes, and a Live Activity keeps the pacing on your Lock Screen.

Home Screen widgets

Start a session in one tap from the Home Screen, without opening the app first.

Private by design

No account to create. Session data stays on the device and in your own iCloud.

Questions

Is Refresher free?
Yes. Every breathing technique, the timer and the widgets work without paying. There is no account and no ads.
Where do I get it?
On the App Store for iPhone. tryrefresher.app has the download link and the full feature list.
What happened to refresher.overx.ai?
It redirects to tryrefresher.app. Old links, bookmarks and referral codes keep working; the app itself is unchanged.

Why it left this domain

A breathing app and an AI engineering studio have nothing to say to the same search query, so keeping both under overx.ai helped neither. Refresher now publishes everything at tryrefresher.app.
